Description

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor is responsible for providing support to the Quantity Surveyor in all aspects of cost management on construction projects. They will assist with the preparation of estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts, as well as the measurement and valuation of variations to the contract. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting, analysis, and cost control measures. They will assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, as well as the negotiation and administration of contracts. Additionally, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will help in the preparation of tender documents, including bill of quantities and contract conditions, and assist with tender evaluation and analysis. They will conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, assess work quality, and ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and contractual obligations. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to the resolution of any contractual disputes or claims, providing support with gathering documentation and analysis.   • Assisting in preparing and submitting tender documentation and bids.You will assist in gathering and organizing the necessary documents and information for tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assisting in the preparation of bills of quantities and cost estimates.You will help in the preparation of detailed bills of quantities and cost estimates by accurately quantifying and pricing various project components.
