Director of Clinical Services offers clinical guidance, advice and support in the health care environment. It is a management position which is responsible for forming and overseeing an entire team of professionals and support personnel to provide high-quality clinical care. Director of Clinical Services is accountable to supervise all nurses as well as other professionals in the field and office personnel. They are accountable for recruiting staff, training, and providing ongoing education to staff.

Clinical services director also creates budgets, sets and supervises staff performance; ensures that the company is in compliance with the federal, state and local laws, and informs the company about the accreditation policies and procedures. Directors oversee the review of clinical services as well as reviews of clinical records to ensure consistency, accuracy and high-quality recordkeeping.
