Directors of resident care are responsible of supervising staff and residents in a facility for patients. A lot of directors assist patients in need of care and assist staff members with their day-to-day tasks that involve patients.

They are also involved in the hiring and training of new employees, making sure that any behavior that is not in line with the rules is rectified or punished, analyzing and resolving complaints, taking care of medication distribution and interacting with patients who may not be feeling well or may be sick.
