Quality control specialists will collaborate to review the quality of services and products that are completed by the operations associates. High school diplomas and two years of experience with quality assurance are basic qualifications. Bachelor's degrees are preferred but not necessary as long as the candidates have relevant prior experience. Candidates need to be team players. Communication skills and attention to specifics are essential. Some jobs will require quality control employees to work in overtime.

Quality control associates be accountable to the quality control team the team's leaders. Quality control employees must keep an inventory of problems, investigate the root causes and produce reports related to their findings. Quality control employees are required to attend numerous meetings with the sales and operations departments. Any suggestions to reduce the risk of defects are strongly encouraged at all times. Quality assurance employees should be able to perform their duties under minimal supervision. The accuracy of the technical information should be kept, recorded and maintained in a confidential manner.

Quality control employees are required to communicate regularly with the operations associates about product quality and defect issues in person, via telephone, email, and internal chat channels. They must respond to questions from operations associates about defects promptly. There is no direct interaction with customers from outside. Candidates selected are required to take part in training sessions which will be run by the department of education and training together with the senior staff of the operation department and the Quality Control department. The hours of operation are typically working hours during the day, with a few exceptions for hours of overtime. There aren't any travel requirements for these positions.
