Web editors work with the writing team to brainstorm content ideas, and they write or assign stories and posts. Then, they review materials to ensure they meet website quality standards and submit it for web posting. On a broader scale, web editors help plan the future development of the website by suggesting changes, developing new topics for content generation, and establishing new methods of content delivery. They may create or acquire video, audio, photographs, apps, and other online content to effectively deliver their organization's message.Web editors work in an office environment during regular business hours, although overtime may occasionally be necessary to meet deadlines.
