1. Boys Hostel - Hostels are well-maintained by the university departments. There are 16 hostels to accommodate more than 3500 students. The Association of Alumni has four double-bedrooms and one suite room with a lounge area for two persons each. The rooms have an attached washroom, television set, and intercom connectivity to the entire campus. Hostel messes serve hygienic and nutritious meals to its inhabitants.

3. Library - Spanning over 4122 sq.mt, the university library is located on the eastern part of the campus. The three-storied building is resplendent with volumes along with collections of e-resources. A digital knowledge centre accompanies the library, which is also RFID smart and a part of INDEST consortium for e-journal access at discounted access from MHRD. Plagiarism tools, questions banks, and referencing are some of the services offered towards research. 
4. Sports - The Anna University Sports Board (AUSB) offers sports to all students equally. Basketball, football, hockey, tennis, and volleyball games can be taken up by students according to interests. The board ensures efficient and smooth conduction of zone and inter-zone tournaments of all departments and colleges under the university. 
5. Medical/Hospital - The Health Centre at Anna University serves students, researchers, staff members and their families. Special consultations are held once a week with health experts. A week-day functioning physiotherapy clinic is at disposal. The medicines prescribed by the Medical Officers at the Health Centre are at free cost to both students and staff. 24/7 ambulance and emergency services are at the disposal of both staff and students. Moreover, all students are covered with an Accidental Policy of Rs.50, 000 each. 
6. IT Infrastructure - The Ramanujan Computing Centre (RCC) renders the services and infrastructures of a great computer lab. The Centre was where the former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam began his presidential post while working in this centre. It caters to administrative and academic requirements of its students and staff. Wi-Fi and video streaming services are highlighted features of the lab. It handles the admissions processes and entrance examinations, and is a nodal QIP centre for CSE programmes. 
7. Convenience Store - There are co-operative, departmental, and shoe stores available on campus. The co-operative store fulfils stationery needs and departmental stores for basic convenience. Grooming can be done at barber, tailoring, and shoe shops provided. STD/ISD booths are also available.
