Managers of the supply chain and warehouse process improvement should be able to guide others in brainstorming concepts for their companies. These managers are responsible for hiring and firing staff, prioritizing customers, planning and executing performance-improvement initiatives, and coordinating with a variety of employees, as well as training new staff and ensuring their capabilities for certain positions. They must also be able to quickly adapt to new concepts and challenges and solve issues efficiently. record improvement procedures, oversee massive projects, offer guidance, and be able to communicate with their customers. They work mostly indoors in warehouse or supply chain settings and they may also collaborate with subordinates who are under their direction.
High school graduation as well as previous experience in management is usually required for this job, however, some positions may also need an Associate's Degree in a related management area. The hours and shifts required for this job can differ however, the majority of management of process improvements work on a regular basis during working hours on a weekly basis.
