Construction project managers design manage, coordinate, and supervise various projects that involve the construction or maintenance of buildings, facilities roads, buildings, and other infrastructure. They should be able to keep their cool under stress, be decisive and be able to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment. Effective and attentive communication skills are vital. A formal education isn't necessarily necessary, but a degree in business, civil engineering, or project management could be helpful. The most important thing is having an experience of work in the construction field and at least some in-the-field education.
