They work in television and radio studios, ensuring that all technical aspects of a broadcast are functioning correctly. This includes maintaining and troubleshooting audio and video equipment, signal transmission and distribution systems, and broadcast automation software. They are responsible for setting up and monitoring live broadcasts, ensuring that audio and video levels are correct and that all equipment is functioning properly. They also contribute to the design and installation of new broadcast systems, ensuring that they meet industry standards and technical requirements.   • Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of broadcasting equipment, such as cameras, microphones, and editing systems.Regularly inspect and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent technical issues.
  • Collaborating with production teams to set up and operate audio and video equipment during live broadcasts or recordings.Coordinate with directors and producers to execute technical aspects of the production seamlessly.
  • Monitoring and adjusting audio and video signals to maintain high-quality broadcast standards.Continuously monitor audio levels, video quality, and transmission signals to ensure clear and accurate content delivery.
  • Assisting in the implementation of new broadcast technologies and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
