Public relations (PR) associate is responsible for maintaining an image of goodwill for their company, by advertising its products, services and initiatives. They assist in the development of advertising and marketing programs and aid in conducting research on market trends and designing advertisements or campaigns. Since a variety of businesses employ PR associates ranging from hospitals to retail businesses to universities - their responsibilities can vary widely depending on the job.
