When helping clients with queries regarding the product, the technical sales rep listens to the features that are most important to their customers; they also look at similar products in the market and other product offerings of rival companies. They then present their results for the sales director of regional, explaining what new products should be available and the best way to market them in a highly competitive market. After approval from Regional Sales Manager, the technical sales representative collaborates with the manager of acquisitions to source new products and assist in the development of documents to promote the sale of these new products.
